"Our country's nuclear installations are safe" - Congress spokesperson. Says who? Are they blind?
Have external pressures reached to such a level that we refuse to see the writing on the wall?
Developed countries have sat up and noticed Japan. Without wasting more time they have proceeded on a path of course correction. Safety of existing nuclear plants are being reviewed.
It would be moronic not to show concern and be the ostrich that we are at most times. The intelligentsia must come to grips with the apathy of the powers that be. Or face the consequences for generations to come.
